Dunlop Golf Clubs: Unbeatable for Price and Money
Dunlop golf clubs, like the Surpass series, are considered a "starter set" of "game improvement" irons and metal woods. While Dunlop has a distinguished history of manufacturing golf equipment dating to 1910, it is not currently a pricey prestige brand-thank God! The oversized, cavity-backed Surpass irons of Dunlop even rival the enormously successful Super Steel Burner irons which are considered the most accurate-hitting irons ever made, usually selling for $600 or more. Get this: You pay only $129.99 for a Dunlop Surpass set. And you get Dunlop irons which are good looking, solidly constructed, and durable. A bonus: these sticks are extremely forgiving and have large sweet spots.
From Reaction to Linear ForceDunlop's Reaction irons have club heads that are nearly identical to the Surpass irons except for the lettering and logos. These Reaction irons have graphite shafts rather than steel shafts. They also have larger heads than the Surpass woods. It gets even better. The Dunlop Linear Force, a Ping i3 look-alike, is a real surprise. You can pick it up at Wal-Mart for $40, yet it works like a $200 set! It feels very good at the grip and with a sharp, tingly sensation at impact. You might say it might not last. But then flex consistency and wall-thicknesses cannot be guaranteed even by expensive shafts! | |||||
